Improve and Repair Sporting Equipment with Heat Shrink

Few household items are subject to the same amount of wear and tear as sporting equipment. Kids will use the same hockey stick or baseball every day and, before long, the grips and handles are worn down or torn. Using Heat Shrinkable Tubing to repair sporting equipment can be a cost effective and efficient way to fix those broken grips and frayed handles. In fact, using heat shrink can have a number of useful functions on a wide range of sporting gear.

Here are a few great uses for Heat Shrink Tubing on your sporting equipment:

Replace or add a new grip to a baseball bat.

Some bats already have uncomfortable rubber grips, creating friction that can cause a lot of discomfort. Adding a layer of heat shrink to the handle will extend the life of the bat and provide additional comfort for its user. Gripping and Labelling hockey sticks

Using our custom cut and printed heat shrink, hockey sticks can be easily labeled or customized with player names and team logos. For ball hockey players, the heat shrink grip is superior to a traditional hockey tape handle, as it reduces friction and and provides a more comfortable hold.

Sealing frayed laces

Fixing tennis, squash and racketball handles.

Tennis and squash players will know that the racket handles are usually the first thing to go during regular use and that repairing these handles can be costly. Heat Shrink can be especially useful on old equipment being passed down to kids. The extreme wear and tear kids put rackets can be easily fixed with heat shrink.
