Using Heat Shrink Tubing on Bow Strings
In our recent post on the use of Heat Shrink Tubing for sporting equipment, we outlined a number of uses for the product that took advantage of the superior grip that heat shrink can offer. The shrinkage that occurs when the product is heated allows the tubing to form a tight fit around the surface on which it is applied, and we find the product particularly useful for creating grips on hockey sticks, baseball bats, and racket handles, making them more comfortable to hold and easier to grip.
